On more than 40 hectares shaded, Gramat Animal Park groups 1000 European wild and domestic animals of 150 different species. In an emblematic natural environment of the Causses du Quercy, the Parc Animalier de Gramat offers a walk of 3 hours that combines educational and cultural approach while being a place of family relaxation. Discovered in 1825 and converted in 1922, the caves of almost are located 5 km from Saint Céré. The visitor discovers an uninterrupted succession of concretions of all shapes and colors. In addition to its concretions, the Caves of Almost offer with regard to numerous stalagmitic pillars from 8 to 10 meters high, some of a great delicacy like the "Cierges". Entre Brive-la-Gaillarde et Rocamadour, proche de Collonges la Rouge, le Musée de l'Homme de Neandertal est situé à 1,5 Km du bourg de la Chapelle-aux-Saints, là où se trouve le site archéologique de la grotte « la Bouffia Bonneval ». Dans un cadre verdoyant, déjà existant au temps de nos ancêtres, nous vous donnons rendez-vous pour une découverte de la Préhistoire. Au travers une visite guidée, adaptée à tout public, retracez l'évolution humaine et rencontrez le « vieillard » de la Chapelle aux Saints/ l'homme de Neandertal. Pendant les vacances, passez d'agréables moments avec vos enfants en participants aux ateliers dédiés aux familles, mêlant savoirs et amusements. En été, vous pourrez approfondir vos connaissances grâces aux conférences scientifiques organisées les lundis. Plongez dans les âges paléolithiques le temps d'un week-end pendant la Fête de la Préhistoire en août. En basse saison, venez assister aux Café de la Préhistoire : « Un moment de convivialité, de réflexion et de partage autour de la Préhistoire ». Plongez au cœur de la préhistoire avec ce site classé aux Monuments Historiques. Découverte d'une cavité naturelle utilisée comme piège par les hommes préhistoriques pendant près de 80 000 ans. Présentation de la grotte ornée de peintures et de gravures (photographies et film). Toute la journée, démonstrations et ateliers : silex, feu, musique, chasse au propulseur et arts. Activités supplémentaires pour les enfants…

Deux grottes sont visitables, une première ou l'on parle de la formation des volumes et de la formation des concrétions et, une deuxième grotte ou l'on découvre les motifs préhistoriques, traces abstraites simples et complexes et figures vieilles de 30 000 années. The water sports center of Lake Tolerme offers a multitude of activities during the summer season: Rental of pedal boats, paddles and canoes. Tree climbing with a 6-station route for small children up to 8 years old. A large zip line crossing the lake for about 450m. A fishing workshop for children every Wednesday. Introductory rowing sessions supervised by an educator (by reservation only, timetables must be defined when booking.) These activities are open from July 4, 2020 to August 23, 2020, daily from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
